Me after my first of many morning workouts
I read an article on the Huffington Post that successful people workout in the morning. Some of you know of my ups and downs with diet and exercise. I’m really over it! So, I decided I’m not going to use crutches anymore. I need to stop making excuses. I really need to be the BEST vegan I can be. Seriously, if I am going to be an example and help people adopt a compassionate, cruelty-free lifestyle, I need to be in optimal health.
Today kicks off a journey just for myself. Doing something for yourself alone can be rough when you’re married and a parent to 2 cats. However, I need to do this. I rarely do things for myself, with the exception of grad school. Speaking of which, a fellow classmate is now my fitness coach!
So, I woke up at 5:30. Got my workout on with a mix of Pilates and cardio. And I’m ready to go.
I work out in the morning. Successful people work out in the morning. Therefore, I will be successful.
Let’s test it out over the next 10 weeks.
